What is the procedure if I joined BTech Computer Science branch in IIT Madras and then I want upgradation to MTech Computer Science like a dual degree in computer science.
The procedure for upgrading to a dual degree or an Interdicsiplinary Dual Degree in your parent department is quite straightforward and can be directly done through the Stuents Services Portal (SSP) at the end of the fifth semester provided that students’ CGPA is 8 or above. The department actively encourages enthusiastic students to convert to the dual-degree program or even join for direct-PhD.
