Your son could opt to take Physics and Chemistry, with Biology and/or Maths depending on his interests in the 11th and 12th standard. Many institutes across India offer excellent B.Sc. programs in Physics. Admission to the BS in Physics programs at IITs and IISc is through JEE, and the BS programs in Physics at IISERs admit students through the IISER Aptitude test. Please also check the admission requirements for other programs your son is interested in and prepare accordingly. Good luck!
